We are a boutique winery founded on both friendship and a love of wine. Our establishment started in 2015 when the first estate-grown grapes were planted on our property. Grapes currently grown on our estate include Blanc du Bois, Chardonel, Lenoir, and Lomanto.
Our tasting room opened for business in 2018 with our signature piece “the big door”. Rodney Alldredge and Ray Parker own Big Door Vineyards together; best friends since the age of 9, they have always wanted a business venture together. Their mission is to bring back the true history of wine to Georgia, starting with our Lenoir varietal. Lenoir is one of the oldest known hybrid grapes to ever be cultivated in America. Our motto is: Come as a guest and leave as Family.
